911RescueTrainer works with a variety of clients-

 individuals to families and rescue groups. 

We provide phone guidance and in person training. 

Growing up in Arizona, studying animals in the wild was an amazing way to spend my youth. As an adult, I continued pursuing that passion by traveling the world to study and photograph animals in their natural environments.

More than seven years ago, I began working with dogs after rescuing a double-amputee named Maia who had suffered severe abuse. My focus was helping Maia move beyond the behavioral challenges rooted in her past and guiding her toward becoming a happy, balanced, and confident dog. That journey deepened my understanding of canine behavior and inspired me to help other dogs and their owners.

Since then, I have volunteered my time and knowledge working with hundreds of shelter dogs, foster dogs, and adoptive families. My primary focus is empowering owners to better understand, communicate with, and guide their dogs toward lasting success.

I assess each dog as an individual, identifying the root causes of behavioral issues rather than simply addressing the symptoms. I then provide owners with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to achieve meaningful and lasting results.

My experience studying animal behavior extends beyond dogs. Through extensive travel and observation of animals in their natural habitats, I have gained valuable insight into behavior, communication, and the relationship between animals and their environments.

I have studied the work of Matt Beisner and Nicole Wilde, and have trained directly under Cheri Lucas and Brian Agnew. These experiences have helped shape my balanced, behavior-focused approach to working with dogs and their families.
